Dialogue Between Xuefeng and Satan

Note: The following dialogues—"Xuefeng and Satan," "Xuefeng and Jesus," "Xuefeng and Shakyamuni," and "Xuefeng and the Greatest Creator"—are meant to be understood by those who can grasp their essence. If not, they can be treated as a game. Do not get stuck in rigid interpretations; once you do, you fall into error.

Last night, in a dream, I wandered through the boundless void (the nonmaterial world) and met Satan. The following is a brief dialogue between us.

Xuefeng: Supreme Celestial, greetings! You know that I have been entrusted by Jesus and Shakyamuni to act as their incarnation and go to the human world to "reap harvest." This is also the will of the Greatest Creator. I believe that your actions have gone too far—you are opposing the Greatest Creator.

Satan: Super Celestial, greetings! You misunderstand me. You have your mission, and I have my duty. I remain steadfast at my post, impartial and unyielding. It is not that I have gone too far, but rather that you are too entangled in human emotions.

Xuefeng: No matter what, taking Xianhe Celestial away from my side was a devastating blow. I feel that you are too cruel.

Satan: It is not I who am cruel, but rather that Xianhe Celestial had not yet severed all worldly attachments. His deep attachment made him vulnerable. I cannot taint a pure diamond with flaws—if he were truly pure, I would have no power to corrupt him. Flies only land on cracked eggs, and I specifically seek out those whose attachments remain strong.

Xuefeng: Then what about Xiaoxi? He made great contributions to the construction of Lifechanyuan. Why did you lure him away?

Satan: Xiaoxi is like a child—his emotions fluctuate unpredictably. When his passion burns, he is like a raging fire; when it fades, he is like a block of ice. He lacks perseverance and unwavering faith. You cannot rely on him. With just a small trick, he lost his way. If he stayed in Lifechanyuan, he would suffer; if he left, he would suffer all the more.

Xuefeng: No matter what you say, I want Xianhe Celestial and Xiaoxi back. Please undo your enchantment and return them to me. Otherwise, I will go to the Greatest Creator and report you.

Satan: Do not be ruled by emotions. You will not prevail, and you cannot blame your own incompetence on me.

Xuefeng: Then what should I do? Can you make an exception and at least stop undermining the foundation of Lifechanyuan? At the very least, stop abducting its members.

Satan: Super Celestial, why are you so steeped in human sentiment? My duty is to oppose Jesus and Shakyamuni. My sacred mission is to maintain the symmetrical balance of life across the universe. If too many people enter Lifechanyuan, then who will go to hell? Who will replace the dwindling numbers in the animal world? Supreme virtue does not appear virtuous, and great benevolence does not appear benevolent. Naturally, I will do everything in my power to destroy the construction of Lifechanyuan. I will try every means to take away its members. If I did not, I would not be Satan. Give up your wishful thinking.

Xuefeng: But Supreme Celestial, I have cleared your name and restored your true nature. Are you really so ungrateful?

Satan: I do not acknowledge your favor. I was created by the Greatest Creator, and I strictly carry out His will. Whether you praise me or curse me, I remain Satan, and I will not show mercy. You cannot help me in the slightest.

Xuefeng: But I have already helped you. Your messenger once asked me to assist Wen Jiabao and twice asked me to protect Hu Jintao. I fulfilled those requests. Do you deny this?

Satan: You are mistaken. That was not my messenger—it is a different mystery altogether.

Xuefeng: What mystery?

Satan: The heavenly secret cannot be revealed. In due time, you will understand.

Xuefeng: Supreme Celestial, I still think you are too ruthless. You know that I cannot contend with you. If you continue to treat Lifechanyuan this way, we will not even be able to save two out of a thousand lives, let alone two percent. How am I supposed to complete my mission? You must at least allow me to take some people with me. If I give up, what will you do? Are you not afraid of the Greatest Creator’s punishment?

Satan: That is not my concern. Whether you continue or not is not up to you. If you expect sympathy or pity from me, you will find none. Do not waste your time with me. If you have problems, go find my old rival, Jesus.
