As the rainy season approaches, Thailand Branch is currently in the driest period of the year. The land is parched, and all living things await the rain. Finally, today—on the day of Songkran (Water Festival)—a refreshing light rain arrived. After a long drought, the gentle rain brought joy to all. Flowers, grasses, and trees danced lightly in the breeze and drizzle, creating a scene of harmony between weather and nature.
Thanks to the diligent planting and care by Baichuan, Roumei, Yangle, Daodi, Qianzicao, and a few other brothers and sisters, the Thai home is now blooming with vibrant flowers: periwinkles, marigolds, cosmos, peacock flowers, and cleome bloom like a sea of color, attracting butterflies in graceful flight and birds singing cheerfully. Besides the area around the dining hall, Yangle has also started beautifying the surroundings near the garden and the memorial pagoda of Longpao Mama.
In the vegetable garden, Roumei works diligently every day, with Daodi helping with watering and weeding. Now the garden yields abundant harvests of tomatoes, long beans, winged beans, eggplants, gourds, water spinach, and more. Each day we enjoy delicious, lovingly prepared dishes by culinary fairy Yulin, and our hearts are filled with gratitude—for nature and for our brothers and sisters.
Besides grocery shopping, Qudan has been learning and applying her skills online—installing water pumps, checking water, electricity, and network lines. Currently, with Maidi’s assistance, she is building room partitions and installing windows in one side of the main hall.
Yixian, Jiao’e, Baichuan, and Yangle—our four spiritual guides—are working hard each day preparing for the upcoming Spiritual Purification Course. Watching their tireless dedication, we feel another fruitful tree of Lifechanyuan is about to blossom and bear results. Additionally, Yangle’s active promotion on Facebook has drawn great attention and support from friends in Singapore and Malaysia for Lifechanyuan and the Thai branch.
A young friend from India, Tanuz, recently came to the Thai Second Home to experience life here. In just a week, he felt the peaceful rhythm of life in what seemed like a paradise beyond the world. In this quiet, natural setting, accompanied by the warm sincerity of our brothers and sisters, the stress and troubles Tanuz had carried from work and life gradually melted away. His heart became light and joyful, and a bright, handsome smile appeared on his face.
He shared that the Second Home is not just a utopian sanctuary, but truly a place where the soul can rest. He told his mother in India about the beautiful life here, and with hopeful excitement, he expressed his wish to return next time with her, to again immerse themselves in this serene, harmonious, and loving atmosphere.
