This week, the Thailand home welcomed a Brazilian girl named Jaqueline. Like most young visitors, she doesn’t favor traditional marriage and family structures. Even when she has a boyfriend, she chooses to engage in open and free romantic relationships that are mutually non-possessive and non-controlling. Jaqueline is gentle and easygoing, with a childlike innocence and simplicity. She eagerly helped with washing dishes in the kitchen and pulling weeds in the vegetable garden, working in perfect harmony with everyone. During her five-day stay at the Thailand home, everyone got along with her comfortably and joyfully.
When we introduced her to the guide and talked about his mission of harvesting the mature crops and leading humanity into a harmonious new era, Jaqueline was so moved that she got goosebumps. She eagerly asked how to spell the guide’s name, expressing her desire to learn more about him and read his writings online.
On the third evening of her stay, the celestial beings gathered in the Jianxing Activity Hall to practice Tai Chi fan, followed by dancing to music from Greece, China, South America, and other countries. Finally, everyone sat in a circle, chatting and introducing themselves. Some brothers and sisters shared how they became connected to the Second Home of Lifechanyuan, while others briefly introduced the home and Lifechanyuan to the visitor. This approach helped Jaqueline and the group get to know each other better while also providing a great opportunity to practice English and improve communication skills. Jaqueline also shared her experiences of working and traveling. She is a rural teacher in Brazil and studied English while living in Australia. Within a year, she advanced from having no foundation in English to being able to communicate fluently, leaving everyone amazed and inspired. Many asked her for advice and tips on learning English.
Jiejing is outgoing, lively, and warm, always attracting the affection and friendliness of the local Thai people. On the way from the mango orchard to the Merit Garden, she met an aunt who loves flowers. The aunt invited us to visit her garden and kindly shared flower seedlings and seeds she had cultivated. Her kindness and warmth made us, as foreigners, feel truly welcomed. We hope she can visit the Mango Orchard or Merit Garden sometime so we can express our gratitude.
Whenever Longpa Phra returns from Chiang Mai, he always comes to the garden to visit us, smiling kindly as he greets each of us and patting little Denden’s head before leaving us with a large pile of delicious food. We, the children pampered by Longpa Phra, feel so fortunate and loved. Now, besides offering the vegetables we grow, Roumei also prepares her specialty Chinese dishes or pastries to send to the temple for Longpa Phra and the other monks to enjoy.
On the 4th and 5th of this month, Yangle and Qianzi went to Chiang Mai to extend their student visas for another year. During these two days, Yixian, Jiejing, Baichuan, and other brothers and sisters hosted the visitor, giving lessons on philosophy, singing, playing cards, and enjoying games together. From the photos and videos taken, it was clear that the atmosphere was warm and joyful, with lively interactions with the visitor. It was delightful to see how everyone worked together, showing that even without us there, they could successfully run and maintain the branch, perhaps even more smoothly than when we are present. It truly made me realize that each Celestial in Lifechanyuan is an invaluable treasure with limitless potential, a beacon of hope for humanity’s future of living a beautiful life. It felt like I was witnessing a vision of branches blossoming and thriving all over the world!
