We have 20 small vegetable plots in front of the kitchen. After the soil was improved,garlic, cabbage, dwarf beans, leeks, fennel, celery, spinach were planted, and on a piece of ground strawberries that were seeded last year are spreading. At the back of the kitchen, each vegetable plot is about 1.5 meters wide and 10 meters long. There are 20 pieces in total,in which egg eggplants, water spinach, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, loofah, Thai Melon, watermelon, pepper, corn, etc were planted. These days beans, cucumbers, greens, water spinach, fennel, etc. can be picked now.Especially the beans and cucumbers can be harvested in large quantities every other day.
Daddy Chicken hopes to let the chicken and duck babies eat more natural foods from the field. So the feed from market was halved and replaced with corn, leftover rice, water spinach, bananas, etc. And the ducks still give us 19 eggs everyday day. The Abbot has always cared for us like a father, so every time we enshrine the vegetables and eggs to him, we always feels happy and a sense of accomplishment !
In addition,we helped the workers to lay the lawn in the yard，and have the opportunity to experience the continuous fast charging of solar energy at noon. Working under the big and hot sun, keep the brain empty,just pay attention to the work itself,the sun is scorching on our face and back, and I just imagine myself being surrounded and melted by love from the sun. In this way,I had no longer resisting,adapted to the high energy of the sun. After sweating a lot, a cool breeze blowing over, feel so refreshing ， energetic and grateful!
One year ago when we arrived here, it seemed so difficult to build a community in a place where we were unfamiliar. Now one year has passed, we have become more and more familiar with this place, and become more and more comfortable with life and work. The people, land, plants, and beautiful scenery here are all so kind and beautiful, and there is a safe and warm home feeling. Yang Le couldn't help sighing: It turns out that where we work and dedicate, it will become our home finally.
In order to improve our quality of life and to be qualified to live in heaven in the future, we advocate giving more than asking, emphasizing continuous giving and dedication.
