A Master of Massage Has Arrived

Huanxin Celestial

Recently, Huiyi was specially invited by the abbot of the neighboring temple to visit Master Dalong. Master Dalong is a true Thai native who spent over twenty years living and practicing as a monk in Taiwan. He has recently returned to his homeland to take care of some affairs. His expertise lies in chiropractic massage, and in his spare time, he also helps people decode their life secrets. Impressively, he speaks fluent Chinese.

Huiyi, along with Yangle and Qianzi, formed a small group to visit Master Dalong’s home, which is somewhat like a farm. Over three days, they learned a set of chiropractic massage techniques. It’s said that there are dozens of moves in the technique, requiring repeated practice every day. They also participated in the experience of building an earthen house during their visit.

Our eager student, Yangle, was particularly quick to learn and master these techniques. After the three of them returned, they were eager to share and demonstrate what they had learned with Guang and me. Yangle, in particular, couldn’t wait to show off his new skills, worried that he might forget them if he didn’t practice right away. And so, for the first time, I heard Guang loudly exclaiming from the next room—likely overwhelmed by how "blissfully" comfortable he was—while Yangle and Qianzi stood nearby, chuckling.

After trying their chiropractic massage techniques myself, I experienced a series of sharp "crack, crack, crack" sounds that made me feel like my bones were about to disassemble. It was an incredibly intense experience, and I imagine it might be too stimulating for those without a certain tolerance.
