Looking at Chanyuan Celestials through Money

Over the past 16 years, Lifechanyuan has established 21 picturesque communities in Zimbabwe, China, Thailand, South Korea, and Canada, with a total turnover of several tens of million. But not a single person has embezzled or misappropriated these funds. Faced with money, every Chanyuan celestial maintains a pure and honest approach.

In 2012, when I left the 3rd branch, I left 1000 yuan in my bedroom drawer. I informed over thirty Chanyuan celestials in the 3rd branch that whoever needed money could take it without seeking permission or reporting to anyone. Take as much as you need, and if it's not enough, I'll supplement it. Six months later, upon my return from the 4th branch to the 3rd branch, upon opening the drawer, only 96 yuan was taken, and the remaining 904 yuan was untouched.

Starting in 2021, Lifechanyuan began providing a monthly living allowance of 1500 yuan to a dozen elderly or physically frail Chanyuan celestial. After a year and a half, except for two or three individuals who genuinely needed this money, the rest didn't touch the monthly allowance, returning it intact to the community.

For a period, there were three million yuan in the community's account. I suggested hiding the wealth among the people, and everyone was invited to sign up. Twenty people registered, and we promptly transferred 50,000 yuan to each person. Today, when I mentioned that we need funds to purchase a farm in Canada, everyone swiftly transferred their 50,000 yuan back to the community's account.

Through these three examples, I want to inform the world that in the face of money, Chanyuan members remain unmoved. This is one of the main reasons why the Chanyuan communities, established successively 21 communities over the past sixteen years, have remained vibrant and full of vitality.

I wonder, over these 16 years and the creation of 21 communities, where money has been used in countless ways, many Chanyuan members have handled money directly. Yet, not a single cent of the community's funds has been misused, misappropriated, or embezzled. So, tell me, what kind of people are the Chanyuan celestials?
