Please enjoy the elegance and charm of our international friends at the Thailand Branch

The Cutest Height Difference Duo Working in the Garden One is a boy from Germany named Yang, and the other is a girl from China named Che. The German boy took nine months to cycle from his home country to Yunnan, where he met Che. They both share a passion for cycling and traveling around the world, but due to the well-known pandemic, they have temporarily settled in Thailand. Both are vegetarians and are highly committed to environmental protection, choosing to live a low-carbon lifestyle to protect the Earth and preserve nature as much as possible. They have visited us twice, and each time they come, they warm our hearts by asking, "Can we help you with anything? Can we work in the fields?" They eagerly helped us pick chili peppers, clean fans, make steamed buns, and harvest peanuts. That day, they were so busy working that they had to leave in a hurry without even staying for dinner.

David, Noiy, and Weina's Short Stay to Experience Community Life David is great at making friends and connecting with different eco-communities, with a dream of creating an international family. He knows permaculture and can do many things. For example, he worked with Brother Guang to make and install a new chimney, helped repair an old computer, and restored a branch-cutting tool to its former glory. He also made a tangy and healthy kombucha drink, planted some lemongrass, and collected various plant seeds from around the area. Noiy is well-versed in Thai plants, knowing their uses and value. He took us to the mountains to dig up edible bamboo shoots and taught us how to cook delicious Thai dishes. I’ve heard he can also make tofu and eco-friendly cleaning products—definitely someone worth learning from when the opportunity arises. Both of them are about to set off with Yangle to stay in the ecovillage and spread love while experiencing the joys of creation.

Weina was originally studying for her Ph.D. in Taiwan, researching environmental fields, and is now specializing in agriculture and food. We met by chance in Thailand, and she’s also friends with David and Noiy. She stayed with us for a few days, and being with her felt like meeting an old friend—familiar and warm, with a great sense of humor and no distance between us. She has a very nice personality and gets along easily with others. Her biggest flaw is that she can’t stay idle; she was always busy in the kitchen, even helping to hem Huiyi’s pants. She’s also excellent at translating English and skilled in growing seedlings, having cultivated over a dozen avocado plants, many sunflowers, and other plants. I have to say, she’s quite capable. We reluctantly said goodbye to her yesterday as she’s heading to Germany as an exchange student to complete her Ph.D. dissertation. We wish her a joyful and happy journey!

Days Spent with Misu Misu is also a spiritual seeker who has traveled throughout Southeast Asia to study and participate in various meditation groups. She enjoys tarot reading, divination, decoding the secrets of life, and sound bowl healing. She often comes to the community to live and experience life with us. When Yangle read to her from "The Way to Know Your Past Life"—Chapter 27 of "The Book of Wisdom," she was delighted to discover that she came from the Ten-Thousand-Year World because she had dreamed of flying naked. She invited Brother Guang and me to listen to a Buddhist course, where we got a feel for the Buddhist atmosphere. However, I still feel that the Way of Nature and cultivating to become an immortal resonates most with my heart. She also skillfully gave me an aromatic essential oil head treatment, which was an absolute luxury and incredibly enjoyable. I’m very grateful to her.

Yao Yao, the Japanese Girl She’s visited the community about three times, and last night at dinner, she was very happy, saying how much she loves the atmosphere here. Yangle and Qianzi said, "This is an international family; you can consider this place your home." She was deeply moved after hearing that.
