# The Canadian Oasis has entered winter, and we're enjoying some dumplings!

Recently, the weather seemed to warm up for a while, but the past few days have turned cold again, indicating that winter has officially arrived with lots of snow and chilly temperatures.

During the last heavy snowfall, our neighbors came to help with shoveling snow and starting the car. They suggested buying a new battery and a car heater. A few days ago, we went to Baili Village to shop and visit the bank, and on the way back, we found a small table that can be used as a nightstand at the 'Taobao store' (a junkyard). The day before yesterday, we went to Williams Lake to buy a new battery and handle some government business, and yesterday we visited the Baili Village bank to open a bank account for the international family. So, the past three days have been quite busy.

On the day before yesterday, while passing by the 'Tourist Service Center' in Williams Lake, we stopped to look around and took some photos to share. On our way back, it started snowing heavily—a beautiful sight to see while driving through the snow. Yesterday, it continued to snow heavily when we went out and again when we returned. When we got back to the Oasis, the snow on the road from the highway to the house was so deep that the car couldn't get through. Buddha Yì worked hard to shovel the snow, and we finally managed to park the car in the garage.
