37 people—The busiest day ever at the Canadian Oasis!

On May 31st, in addition to the 20 guests already staying, another 17 people arrived, including 14 student soccer players, two coaches, and one driver. It became quite lively all of a sudden. By the time of breakfast yesterday, all the food we had stocked up was used up, and more guests were arriving in the afternoon. We had to quickly go shopping for supplies. With the increase in mosquitoes, we needed electric fly swatters for the rooms. Since Baili Village, 30 kilometers away, didn’t have any for sale, we drove 60 kilometers to Williams Lake to purchase them. After a rushed shopping trip, we hurried back to prepare and clean the rooms for the guests who stayed the previous night. After a quick dinner of instant noodles, we went to bed early.

This morning, after preparing breakfast for the guests, I quickly cleaned and tidied up the other rooms, finishing three of them. I had planned to get all the rooms done today so I could catch up on my online assignments tomorrow, but I felt a bit tired. I’ll finish the remaining three rooms tomorrow. The front yard lawn is mowed, but there’s still a section in the back yard that needs to be done. With the constant flow of guests, it feels like a battlefield every day, and life is so fulfilling that even my little sister-in-law can’t keep up! 2019-06-02
