Thanks to Yangle’s enthusiastic promotion on Facebook, we successfully caught the attention of a Singaporean friend named Roselind. She is a homeopathic therapist who runs a clinic in Singapore to help people with physical and mental health issues. In addition, she does charitable work by sponsoring a clinic in Pakistan, providing free treatment for children suffering from poverty and war.
After more than a month of online and phone communication, she and Yangle developed a sincere and deep emotional connection. Roselind became deeply interested in Lifechanyuan and the Second Home. On the 23rd of this month, she flew from Singapore to Chiang Mai specifically to visit our Thai Home and experience life in the Second Home.
Roselind, who has a rich life experience, has gone through great emotional and spiritual suffering. With a compassionate heart to relieve others from suffering, she embarked on the path of medicine. However, she felt that she had been fighting alone all along and had never met anyone who truly understood her. Two years ago, she prayed earnestly to meet someone who resonated with her soul. She said that now Heaven has answered her prayer by leading her to Lifechanyuan and Yangle online.
We are very happy and honored to receive this kind, lovely, and warm-hearted sister at our Thai Home. From the very first hugs upon meeting, there was a sense of familiarity and kinship. During her stay, Roselind showered Xiao Dengdeng and every brother and sister with loving care, enthusiastically served everyone, provided health consultations, made various Singaporean dishes and teas, helped welcome other guests, took photos and videos of our gardens and vegetables, and even interviewed members. She said she wants to share everything she has seen and felt in the Thai Home with her friends in Singapore.
Roselind arrived just in time for our English trial classes of the Spiritual Purification Course held every afternoon. During class interactions, she resonated deeply with the teachings and spiritual practice methods of Lifechanyuan. From the peaceful and joyful states of the brothers and sisters here, she perceived that the Second Home truly offers a path to liberation from suffering.
Roselind not only brought love and beauty to our Thai Home, but also inspired the idea and motivation to open a café here. We are planning to transform the multi-functional hall built by brother Foyi into a cozy and refreshing café. One corner will be set up as a Spiritual Garden Reading Room, where the Guide's articles will be printed and categorized into booklets for visitors to read and receive nourishment for the soul. Our brothers and sisters at Thai Home can then introduce Lifechanyuan and engage with guests freely and spontaneously. Roselind is very interested in the café plan, and if it is launched, she will contribute her aesthetic talents and wisdom, and also bring more friends to visit and support it.
The day before yesterday, we shared our idea about the café with Longpao. He expressed his support and said he would be our café’s first guest. Now, we would like to ask for the thoughts and suggestions of the Guide, the General Director, and all brothers and sisters. Do you think the café idea is suitable for Thai Home? We welcome your insights and guidance.
Today, Roselind is leaving. After just a week together, everyone has come to see this gentle and cheerful sister as family. We all cherish and appreciate her, and look forward to her applying to become a Chanyuan Celestial and one day reuniting with us to live together in the Home.
