# Recent Updates from Thailand Second Home

Recently at the Thai home, Abbot's workers have been processing wood daily, producing a large amount of sawdust. Brothers and sisters collect these sawdust in bags, some of which are taken to the mango orchard for future compost toilets. Another portion is used to cover flower gardens thickly, while some is employed for covering vegetable plots, aiding in moisture retention and weed suppression. Daily maintenance in the vegetable plots includes weeding, watering, fertilizing, staking, pruning, harvesting, and transplanting are in progress in an orderly manner.

Additionally, a load of cow dung is gathered near the seedling room, with layers of cow dung and dry grass creating organic fertilizer for future seedlings. Processed wooden boards and stored tiles are transported to build houses at the Chiang Mai temple. The simple and genuine working style of the Thai people amused us as we assisted in loading the vehicles.

During the Thai Children's Day, everyone donned traditional clothing to visit the temple and enjoyed watching Thai children dance. Grand festivals at the temple often involve free offerings, and we actively lend a hand. This time, we helped pack boxed meals for service staff and young monks.

In recent days, Hui Guang divided the ground floor of the two-story villa into two small rooms, creating two additional independent bedrooms. Five more tents were purchased for accommodating brothers, sisters, or visitors.

Yi Xian takes care of cleaning, Jiao E assists Yang Le in the vegetable garden, Bai Chuan does laundry, and besides physical labor, the three sisters diligently create videos daily. They seize every opportunity to live broadcast or record videos, spreading the Values of Lifechabyuan and showcasing communal living. Hui Guang's video production in English is highly professional and well-received, garnering praise and admiration from everyone.
