# Receiving Guests of the Abbot ，Chinese Lantern Festival

On the 23rd, the Abbot of temple were set to host 50 guests from Bangkok at the garden Restaurant for dinner. On the evening of the banquet, the temple chefs transported the prepared dishes to the garden. Brothers and sisters assisted the chefs in serving the guests, handling tasks such as setting up utensils, plating side dishes, serving water and food, and taking care of dishwashing and cleaning. The collaborative effort lasted nearly 5 hours, with everyone exuding joy and warmth.

Amid the lively atmosphere, the dedicated and optimistic brothers and sisters even joined the Thai guests in a dance, turning the occasion into a celebration. I couldn't help but admire and feel proud of the hardworking, cheerful, and romantic spirit of our brothers and sisters.

On the Chinese Lantern Festival, the temple organized an event where a donor provided blankets for everyone. Abbot invited each one of us to receive blanket, and after the ceremony, everyone shared various fruits offered during the event. The Lantern Festival festivities reached a climax with the lighting of three bonfires in our garden, during which everyone leaped over the bonfires and we also shared the stories of three bonfires with YouTube fans and visitors from Israel.
