In order to make the Thai branch self-sufficient, Huiyi took the initiative to propose to the host monk that we should raise chickens and ducks, as well as grow vegetables and manage vegetable plots independently.
Leading by Yang Le, Huiyi and Huanxin started weeding, turning the soil, making beds for vagetables, and setting up a shelf for climbing vegetables. Because there is too much rain, they tried to plant eggplants, pumpkins, greens, beans and other vegetables that are not afraid of water, and other vegetables such as tomatoes and peppers,they raise seedlings first in the green house. All three of them are capable, and the original wasteland has been maken beautiful beds in just a few days. The host monk came to have a look at their work , gave them a thumbs up, and repeatedly said good, good! In addition to growing vegetables, they pick up cow dung, fertilize passion fruit, grow dragon fruit, and never let themselves be idle for a moment.
Huiguang's main job is to take care of 20 baby chickens and 20 baby ducks. Some parts of the newly built chicken coop and duck pond need to be strengthened. Brother Guang nailed the places where they might slip out and perfected them a lot, so that they would not be afraid of being harassed by dogs. Duck lays eggs for us as soon as they came, and we have already harvested nine duck eggs.The host monk is so happy to receive the first one.
In addition to growing vegetables with Yang Le Huiyi, sister Huanxin also spends time cleaning for us after get off work. Now the restaurants and the rest room outside the kitchen are all clean and beautiful under her industrious and beautiful hands. thank you very much dear sister for your hard work, the diligent person is the most beautiful,that is talking about you.
In addition to working in the kitchen and nursery room, Qian Zi was weeding and planting flowers in the garden during this time, hoping to turn the entire yard into a garden with flowers and butterflies. It is the most time-saving and labor-saving to pull out the roots when the grass is still small. If you plant flowers after cleaning the grass in the garden, the grass will not grow much. Our soul garden is the same.
In addition to doing things independently, we also took into account the integration with the local workers, and planted bougainvillea and banana trees with them. A total of more than 1,000 banana trees of different varieties were planted on the 24-rai land. When brothers and sisters come here in the future ,there will be endless bananas to eat.
In the past two days, the host monk was going to build five houses near the cafe hall. Huiyi and Yangle helped bury the pillars and lift the drain pipes on the construction site. Watching them do heavy physical work, my heart was full of worship and love and compassion, and the hormones were also emitted naturally!
